About

I have spent the last 15 years of my life honing different story ideas but it’s only recently that I’ve found the courage to go for an indie writer’s career.

Some might argue that’s an enormous amount of time but I feel differently. Today, in the peaceful, snowy month of January 2024, I feel I’m exactly where I need to be and that I’ve also managed to take all my nagging self-doubts with me on this journey without having them take the lead. I have big plans that include a list of, hopefully, loveable books and equally loveable characters.

I’m a sucker for the Victorian era, the 1920s, and postwar America. I prefer characters who come from different backgrounds or are part of different generations altogether.

Despite my predilection for vintage décor, I see a lot of exciting things going on around us today and I’m genuinely interested in people’s struggles and real or imagined sex lives. (More on that in the Books section.)

My other interests are painting and psychology, though I prefer the real-life study of human nature to the current day fixation on improvement, so I guess writing was a good career choice for me after all.

Speaking of careers and jobs, I teach Lit to highschool students.
